This project entailed removal of the existing carpet, pad and tack strip. Full interior paint with flat white on the ceilings, semi-gloss light tan on the walls, and white semi-gloss trim.
We also removed the tile and drywall in the main bathroom, installed 1/2″ durock at the tub walls and tiled the tub walls using 6″ x 6″ almond ceramic tile, grouted and caulked. We installed Allure vinyl plank flooring. This in an excellent alternative to laminate or wood flooring and comes with a 25 year warranty.
As you can see, in look, it is no different to the more expensive flooring available and it is also less expensive to purchase as well as install. We also installed shoe moulding after the flooring install.
